Deer Creek Canyon
11×14 Stained glass
Deer Creek comes pouring out of a dramatic waterfall into the Colorado River in Grand Canyon. It is a sacred place to visit when floating through the Canyon and can be viewed from a steep hike up to the “patio” shelf rock- a shaded oasis of fresh clear water in below the baking mesa. This piece was inspired after my first time traveling through Grand Canyon in 2010 on a private rafting trip.
