This mosaic is dynamic addition to the Stone and Mirrors series. Two schools of hand-shaped fish made from Silvercoats glass stream across the image and catch light only when the direction is right. Purple Silvercoats and iridescent Bullseye glass fire off their reflective colors as the light sweeps over. This piece really becomes many; in bright direct light you see the details of the naturally found stones and the texture of the glass. As light dims the reflective action starts to shine. In a dark entryway only the reflective glass will show (as above) with a glittering stream of motion as you move around it. The movement in this piece is both electrifying and soothing all at once. The stones and glass wrap all the way around the edges so no surface is lost to the action.
